Bizarro’s Factory of Fear Status: Permanently Closed

Factory of Fear, known as Hamilton’s scariest Halloween attraction, is now permanently closed. The once terrifying haunted attraction attracted guests from all over Southern Ontario. Bizarro’s Factory of Fear was built from two 40 foot trailers that used a combination of live actors, pneumatics, and high-quality set designs for a fully immersive terrifying experience. This Haunt was best known for its quality special effects and scary characters, such as the infamous creepy Pig Man.  Admission to Bizarro’s Factory of Fear included the haunted house walk-through, the museum of oddities featuring mummified mermaids and sideshow performances such as a man walking on glass. The Factory of Fear never disappointed from jump scare to cringe-worthy performances.  We are sad to see this haunted attraction in Hamilton close, but we appreciate having been able to experience this unique Haunt.   Established: 2013 Closed: 2019 It opened every October on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights.

Brief History

It was initially opened under the name Bizarro’s Haunt by Calvin Cox in 2013. There was a need for more haunted attractions in the Hamilton area as Halloween-themed interests grew. Bizarro’s Haunt not only entertained its local community but also helped by donating parts of proceeds to not-for-profit charities. If you attended this haunt please feel free to leave a review.

This haunt was fun! The wait in line was longer than the haunt but I still enjoyed it very much. It was unique and I was really sad to see it go. The museum of oddities was a nice addition.
